February Adventures~

February is a wonderful month. Who doesn't love Valentine's Day? The kids enjoyed some fun parties at school and we spent some sweet family time together. Jake's been going to lots of parties lately. He had a blast dressing up for a 70's party, and he really enjoyed another friend's volleyball party. He only got a week off school sports when baseball tryouts began. Jake's loving the dirt on the diamond and has even found some time to play golf. He's thrilled to have his science fair project out of the way and is beginning to see the light at the end of the elementary school tunnel. Brock finished up his basketball season with a couple of exciting games last weekend. Fortunately, he had already pulled out his cleats and was practicing with his new baseball team (the Braves) so the sting of the final loss in the tournament was not too hard to take. His first baseball game is this Thursday and he's excited to be playing in the "Majors". Brock has been reading a lot lately and seems to be enjoying reading as a hobby. Karaline is still playing volleyball and has improved her serves and her bumps. She and I had a wonderful time shopping for Easter dresses and we even picked out some sweater vests for the boys. Karaline has a new hobby. She makes websites. She created a website for her third grade classroom and her teacher is so excited that Karaline knows how to post photos, videos and all sorts of information. She also developed a website called "Animal City" where she researches and reports on a different animal each week. The website includes pictures and very well thought out documentary videos. We are counting our blessings and looking forward to seeing God's glory each and every day.
